# More Compatibility Variants ([Oh The Biomes We've Gone](https://modrinth.com/mod/oh-the-biomes-weve-gone))
If you've tried to use [Oh The Biomes We've Gone](https://modrinth.com/mod/oh-the-biomes-weve-gone) with any of [LieOnLion](https://modrinth.com/organization/lieon-studios)'s More Variants mods, you've probably noticed that you can't craft the things you want with the "Oh The Biomes We've Gone" woods.

This mod resolves the problem by making sure that you can still craft the vanilla recipes with "Oh The Biomes We've Gone" woods even if you have the cool variants.
It doesn't add any new textures, but you won't be stuck without a place to store your reading material in the idyllic Redwood forests anymore!

**Why was this needed?**
If you have eg. [More Chest Variants](https://modrinth.com/mod/more-chest-variants-lieonlion), you can't craft a chest from planks added by [Oh The Biomes We've Gone](https://modrinth.com/mod/oh-the-biomes-weve-gone). You just can't. Similarly, you can't craft, say, a Maple Fence with Sticks from [More Stick Variants](https://modrinth.com/mod/more-stick-variants).
With this mod, you can craft the "basic" version of all things you'd expect to craft from "Oh The Biomes We've Gone"'s wood.
**Do I _need_ all those mods installed? I just want nicer chests and barrels...**
No, you can pick and choose whichever Variant mod you want.
